Beginner Knitting

Limited to 6 students: This workshop has been updated to focus on more one-on-one instruction, ages 8+
Students will begin this workshop by learning how to finger knit to create a chain. Once this skill is mastered, they will learn how to hold knitting needles, create a slip knot, cast on and create a knit stitch. Students prepared to advance will learn how to create a purl stitch.
Your artisan will complete the workshop with the foundational skills of knitting. Take-home knitting kit includes: knitting needles, yarn, curriculum with reference sheets, guide for “next step” project and more!
